SWISS DAYS—————FESTIVAL

branding // event planning and execution // in collaboration with eat creative

in february 2014 the embassy of switzerland in japan officially launched the year-long celebrations commemorating the 150th anniversary of swiss-japanese diplomatic relations.

swiss days was a four day celebration event at roppongi hills in tokyo, with stalls on the site, offering various swiss food and beverages, including chocolates, cheese, coffee and wine. swiss and japanese artists from a variety of genres such as eliana burki and iAlpinisti (alphorn), bastian baker and band (sing and songwriter), keiko ito (jodel) and schwingen wrestlers were performing on the stage. another attraction was the big-screen 3d projection mapping display in the evening.

we worked with the most powerful of swiss icons – the swiss cross. by changing the cross’s scale and physical presence into a more then 10 meter high structural symbol.
with scaffoldings we created modular cubes to create the stage and sponsor booths.
all environmental friendly with very little waste.
